One of the oldest chapters in the country, Los Angeles NORML was founded in 1973 and is a regional chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). We support NORML’s mission to repeal the prohibition of marijuana at the local, state and federal level by educating those in our community about marijuana and hemp and their potential medical and industrial use while promoting the responsible use of marijuana by adults.
As a volunteer Los Angeles NORML, you will be at the forefront of the legal cannabis movement, influencing positive change for consumers and the industry as whole. You will have access to over 50 years of experience as well as a national network of passionate members working together to ensure a fair and balanced process for all, regardless of race, gender and social class.
Led by the nation’s foremost attorney on marijuana laws, Bruce M. Margolin provides the NORML movement with a Los Angeles voice, strength, vision, and connection to Los Angeles County residents who oppose marijuana prohibition and favor an end to the practice of arresting marijuana users.
