CURIOUS ABOUT SB34?
SB-34, The Dennis Peron and Brownie Mary Act, named after two pioneers of medical cannabis access, was the community-driven response to revive compassionate cannabis donations. California state Senate Bill 34 creates a legal pathway by which licensed cannabis companies can donate legal and tested products to eligible patients.

How SB34 works for you
While SB-34 does not create any tax incentives, it does reduce the cost by excusing certain state taxes (cultivation, use, and excise) depending on the license type. Properly coordinated across the supply chain, SB-34 donations can be delivered to patients with a relatively low shared labor and material cost.
As a licensed California cannabis company, you are in the unique position of being able to legally give away life-sustaining medicine to people, many of whom suffer greatly for lack of access or the means to afford legal cannabis.
Compassion is your corporate social responsibility: Only legal operators can provide SB-34 cannabis donations.
